Description
Anthracite Coal is known for having the highest carbon content, containing the fewest impurities and having the highest calorific content in comparison to all other types of coal. Anthracite Coal is used in processes where non-conductive, low cost, black mineral filler is required.
Applications –
Anthracite Coal is used in products such as carbon raisers, refractory coatings, reducing agents, rubber compounds & pigment additives.
Bituminous Coal –
Bituminous Coal or sometimes referred to as black coal is a relatively soft coal containing a tar-like substance called bitumen. It is of higher quality in comparison to Lignite Coal but poorer in quality when compared to Anthracite Coal.
Applications –
Bituminous Coal is used as a filler, additive, or component in any application that requires a highly volatile coal.
Packing & Shipping –
Coal is often shipped in a bulk carrier, vessel size ranging from 10,000mts to 60,000mts. Coal is also often shipped in 20’ or 40′ containers, in jumbo bags or 25 KG bags.
