Calcium Chloride

Calcium Chloride is an inorganic compound and is classed as a salt with the chemical formula CaCl2. When at room temperature Calcium Chloride is a colorless crystalline solid and is extremely soluble when mixed with water.

Application

Calcium Chloride is used in a variety of drilling fluids such as muds, completion fluids, workover fluids, and concrete accelerators. Calcium Chloride helps increase the consistency of most well fluids, stabilizes shale formation, overcome formation pressures and can cool and lubricate drill bits.

Shipping & Packaging

Calcium Chloride is most often shipped in 20-foot or 40-foot containers, packed in jumbo bags or 25 KG bags.
